ATE is a reliable partner whenever new solutions have to be found for specific applications. Our efforts to develop a complete motor for operation in fluids were rewarded with an innovation award. We are also involved in various international research projects.
To optimize the development process and its result, our specialists are also integrated directly into the customer’s development teams and assume responsibility there.
Requirements to be met by special electric drives
Special electric drives comprising both electrical and mechanical components are not only considerably more powerful, but are also subjected to distinctly higher stresses. Exceedingly stringent demands are imposed on the development and production of these drives so that the technological advantage of special electric drives with high reliability potential can still be utilized despite these higher stresses.

Concentration of know-how
Special electric drives are designed, developed, dimensioned and built to every customer’s specific requirements by the ATE specialists. We are in a position to carry out every phase in the creation of a product independently.
Production includes:
- Assembly/production of individual components (stators, rotors, mechanical parts,…)
- Mechanical machining of the drive components
- Impregnation/ casting of windings using different processes
- Assembly of the drive components (stator, sleeve, shafts,…)
All the individual areas in ATE benefit from the direct and permanent exchange of experiences. Our concentration of know-how allows us to react to customers’ enquiries and problems quickly and competently.
