ATE customized motors based upon the scalable ATE motor platforms
With our motor platform, we are extremely flexible and can meet almost any requirement. The optimised water cooling system makes the drive highly efficient and compact.
In addition to the easy-to-implement and highly flexible scaling, the motor platform is flexible regarding the motor topology of the active parts. All ATE motor technologies can be implemented. The mechanical interface can also be customized according to your wishes and requirements.
Looking for a flexible electric motor solution – whether as a technology carrier or as a basis for concept comparisons? Need a prototype quickly, but don’t have time to design the components? Want to quickly and effectively present a concept suitable for series production? Don’t want to have to use your resources to develop and build a complete electric motor, including designing the bearing and shaft dynamics, the sensors, the cooling system and electrical interfaces? Then we have just the thing for you – the ATE motor platform!
We offer several options to perfectly match your motor to your application:
- Platform 150 – External diameter of active parts: 150 mm – External housing diameter: 182 mm
- Platform 240 – External diameter of active parts: 240 mm – External housing diameter: 285 mm
- The length of the motor is freely scalable – depending on the required torque
- Cooling water connections can be lead out radially or axially.
- Terminal box selectable for 3-phase and 6-phase systems.
- Power wires can be lead out radially or axially.
- Induction motors with copper round bar or profile bar, or aluminium die-cast rotors
- Synchronous motors with surface magnets (SPM) or interior magnets (IPM) oder synchronous reluctance (SRM)
- Torque motors as internal rotors
