The Leutkirch-based company ATE Antriebtechnik und Entwicklungs GmbH & Co. KG has joined the local Leutkirch Family Alliance. Managing Director Stefan Heinz met with the alliance’s chairman, Mayor Hans-Jörg Henle, to discuss ATE’s membership. Henle expressed his pleasure at welcoming ATE to the alliance.
Local family alliances across Germany are committed to promoting the compatibility of work and family life. To achieve this, municipalities bring together local companies, institutions, organizations, associations and private individuals to form a network. The Leutkirch Family Alliance was founded in 2016 and has continued to grow steadily ever since.
ATE was founded in 2000 and now employs more than 160 people across five sites in Leutkirch. The company manufactures stators and rotors, the core components of electric motors, with a strong focus on in-house development and innovation. This autumn, ATE also welcomed five new apprentices.
Members of the family alliance receive regular information on topics such as childcare options during school holidays, family events, and balancing work with caring responsibilities. Over the years, the alliance network has also led to numerous successful collaborations and projects.
