One of the company founders Mr. Wolfgang Merath, has been retired according to plan from the operative business of the technology leader after more than 19 years.
He has been replaced by Stefan Heinz, who started his career at ATE 10 years ago as a development engineer. After 4 successful years, Stefan took over the management of the development department and was named Technical Director for another 3 years.
Currently, a new production hall of approx. 2,000m2 is being completed in Leutkirch, which will be started from the beginning of May 2019 for capacity expansion. As a part of this expansion, the workforce at the location in Leutkirch will rise to around 130 employees.
MANGEMENT CHANGE IN ATE
There was a change in the management on April 1st, 2019, at the manufacturer of electric special drives from Leutkirch, ATE Antriebstechnik und Entwicklungs GmbH & Co. KG.
